Paradise Valley, AZ

Since I have traveled a great deal over the years, I have had the opportunity to dine at some of the finest restaurants in the world. People often ask for recommendations, and I literally have dozens of eateries to share. That being said, just last night a gentleman asked if I could recommend a restaurant in Scottsdale, AZ and I told him one of my most favorite culinary delights in the Southwest (maybe America) is El Chorro Lodge in Paradise Valley. Not far from Scottsdale, this 1930’s schoolhouse has been crafted into a cozy, beautiful and dare I say, romantic restaurant. Although it’s been a couple of years since I have been able to visit, I often refer people and have been assured the fragrant fires still burn in the outdoor dining area and the “sticky buns” remain a feature you won’t want to miss. If you ever in the Phoenix/ Scottsdale area, you must treat yourself to the El Chorro Lodge.
Now before you tell me your favorite restaurants…don’t. But if you have tried any that I share with you…let me know what you think.

In fine dining like in life…you “Don’t Just Do It”
